The intent of a West Hill Festival is to Showcase our area as a safe and attractive place to visit, play and shop. We propose an event of significant stature designed to attract the widest possible audience and unique to West Hill.
Lawrence between Kingston and Morningside could be closed off for the central features of the event with little disruption to traffic.
The Festival will require a Festival Committee made up of business, community, service clubs and political leaders. Each would provide funding and have a seat on the Festival Committee. As an Annual event this will require a year long committment on behalf of Committee members.
The intent of the West Hill Festival will be to attract people to the area and demonstate to them that West Hill is a safe and attractive location to visit or begin a business.
