Unveiling our new canopy for community events 2008

By definition, a Community is comprised of those who commune, who join together in some common interest or event. The CCA Community Events Committee sponsors a variety of events in the Coronation area designed to bring the community together in fun and pleasurable ways. Here are some CCA sponsored Events in the planning stages.

Community FUN DAY

Heron Park

West Hill's major Community Event, to be held in Cooperation with MVCA and TPF&R will be held on the baseball diamond and last year saw about 700+ people attend. BBQ, games, inflateables, face painting, henna, police, fire etc. Everything is free!

CCA Town Hall and Annual Meeting

Soul of the City Lecture

Sister's Restaurant

Pier Giorgio Di Cicco, Poet Laureate of the City of Toronto, will present his talk on developing the Creative Community. Limited seating remaining for this extraordinary event. Click here for more information.

Monthly CCA Executive Meeting

First Tuesday of Every Month at 7:30 pm

43 Division Community Room

These are open meetings and the Community is welcome to attend. Voting is restricted to CCA Executive Members and polite behaviour is requested. City Councillors Ron Moeser and Paul Ainslie regularly attend as do frequent Special Guests

Also in the earliest stages of planning: Niagara Wine Tour, Hiking Club, Dog Walking Group and Community Baseball game with other Community Associations. CCA is looking for volunteers to help with events.
