CORONATION COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION of West Hill CONSTITUTION 2009
1. NAME:
The name of this organization shall be the Coronation Community Association of West Hill (unincorporated), hereinafter referred to as The Association.
2 . OBJECT:
The object of The Association shall be to promote, foster, and protect the public, social, and recreational interests of the Coronation Community.
3 . MEMBERSHIP:
Membership in the Association shall be open to all residents, property owners, and tenants, within the primary or secondary boundaries of the Coronation Community of Scarborough, as hereinafter defined. Admission to membership shall be extended on payment of such annual membership dues as may be decided by the Executive. Such dues shall not be less than ten dollars per household, and shall entitle husband and wife to separate voting rights.
4. COMMUNITY BOUNDARIES:
The primary area of the Coronation Community is enclosed by the south side of Morningside Park, in the west by Link-Deekshill and Shoreview Drives, the north side of the CNR tracks and the east side of the Guildwood GO/VIA Station
5. MANAGEMENT
The affairs of the Association shall be managed and conducted by an Executive in accordance with the By-Laws of The Association.

7. OFFICERS:
The Executive shall select from its members, a President a Secretary, a Treasurer, and such other officers as the Executive may decide are necessary.
8. ANNUAL MEETING:
An annual meeting of the members of the Association shall be held in October of every year as provided by the By-Laws, except when the Executive is prevented from holding the meeting at this time by some extraordinary occurrence. The annual meeting is to be held as soon as possible after the first of October.
Other general and special meetings of the Association may be convened and held as the Executive determine necessary.

Notice of Annual or Special General meetings shall be by way of advertisement in the "Newsletter", or, if this is impractical, on our website or by poster prominently displayed in the Community. Notice must be given at least one week before the date set for the meeting.

Special general meetings may be called as follows:
12. DISSOLUTION:
The Association may be dissolved by simple majority vote of the members present at an annual or special meeting of the Association called for the purpose, and the assets of the Association shall be distributed in such manner as may be decided by simple majority vote of the members present.
All notices advising dissolution of the Association must specify that the matter of the disposition of the assets is to be voted upon at the meeting.
