CCA members helped set up displays, greeted the thousands of guests as they arrived and supervised the silent auction.
The day was cloudy and a little cool but the temperatures did nothing to disuade the large crowds
Among the displays were this police car. Guided tours of the new station were also given.
Joining the antique fire truck from last year was this antique ambulance from the 1950's.
The horses from the mounted unit were a big draw as was the modern fire truck which proved too big to fit into the parking lot behind the station. Karl and Lisa Bieley, members of the CCA Executive, watch as the mounted unit passes.
Thousands of people attended the event.. The food and drinks held out, but only just! The line ups were long but but there was a happy excitement in the air. Even the Toronto Maple Leaf's mascot came out to help. Here Inspector Gord Dalgarno and CPLC Chair Marlyn Hodge welcome guests from the stage.
